Hultafors is launching a versatile Rafter Square

Hultafors is now launching a quick rafter square, a multifunctional rafter square where you can quickly and easily mark 45 and 90 degree markings. As always at Hultafors, the focus is on the usability, precision and durability.

Durable solid aluminium

The triangular rafter square is made in solid aluminium and has CNC-machined edges and an anodized and low reflective surface. The gradations are laser etched for optimum readability and are highly resistant to wear.

“The rafter square, also known as speed square in the United States, is a natural in the toolboxes of American craftsmen. We have seen a demand for the rafter square here in Sweden, and we are pleased to now broaden our range of set squares with it,” Per Eriksson, Product Development Manager at Hultafors, says.

Multifunctional Rafter Square

The rafter square is also provided with scales for cutting rafters, while the grooves in the triangle act as support when marking out, for example, longitudinal lines or when cutting plasterboard to size. It can also be used as a protractor for marking out angles and as a guide when sawing, for both cross-sections and angled sections.

“This is a convenient tool that make work easier and more efficient, and we are looking forward to hearing what our users think about it,” Per Eriksson concludes.
